the big three-oh: parts four, five, and six

This has been a terribly difficult project for me, one that I'm almost sorry I decided to undertake. It's extremely hard to look at an entire year of album releases and pick one song, especially as I get closer to the present day and it seems as though more and more artists have been able to release great music. Moving right along...

- radiohead: anyone can play guitar from Pablo Honey [buy]
- weezer: my name is jonas from The Blue Album [buy]
- catherine wheel: heal from Happy Days [buy]
- sneaker pimps: 6 underground from Becoming X [buy]
- blink 182: josie from Dude Ranch [buy the only blink 182 song I can stand]
- U.N.K.L.E.: lonely soul (feat. richard ashcroft) from Psyence Fiction [buy]
- my morning jacket: heartbreakin' man from The Tennessee Fire [buy]
- death cab for cutie: 405 from We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes [buy]
- incubus: under my umbrella from Morning View [buy]
- nada surf: killian's red from Let Go [buy]
- the decemberists: as i rise from Her Majesty The Decemberists [buy]
- interpol: not even jail from Antics [buy]
- wolf parade: same ghost every night from Apologies to the Queen Mary [buy]
- muse: exo-politics from Black Holes and Revelations [buy]
- sea wolf: ses monuments from Get to the River Before it Runs Too Low [buy]
