Hey Indie Mom,
Happy Friday!
Thanks for the mention.

PS I love the new title bar artwork - please tell me that it is your view from Speed of Dark Towers? Gorgeous.
Hmm... I'm pretty sure that's not Death Cab. That singer (fake British accent or not) doesn't sound anything like Ben Gibbard.
Sorry - absolutely not Ben Gibbard, there is nothing remotely Death Cab about that track.
thankyou for the kind mention. loving the new layout and stunning pictures :)
You're right, that's not DCfC...hmmm...now I don't know who it is. I *do* have a DCfC cover of that song, somewhere...
This has a very Scandinavian-synthpop feel to it, actually; my initial thought was to Google whether Royksopp had ever covered this song. What I did turn up, in fact, was that a Swedish synthpop band called Automatic covered it on a Cure tribute CD a few years ago. I haven't been able to verify whether this is actually that song or not, but here's some information on that CD anyway: http://www.amazon.com/Fictional-Tribute-Cure-Various-Artists/dp/B00002DGSM
love the redesign, very cool. and you didn't sound bad at all on blogfresh! quite the opposite, very enthusiastic and convincing. : )
Hey thanks Craig!...I'll check that out.
Re: Friday, I'm in Love
If it isn't Automatic, there's a guy that covered the song for the "50 first dates" Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore movie, by the name of Dryden Mitchell. It could be him although the soundtrack version sounds a little different than this one.
