Gillmor at the Glass House

Jake Harrison, Tyler Thompson, and Ryan Gillmor of Gillmor
Leader and namesake of the band Gillmor, Ryan Gillmor has travelled the country on two Warped Tours as a single act. Now he has gathered L.A. musicians Justin Ivey on drums, Jimmy Marvich on bass, Tyler Thompson on keys, and Jake Harrison on guitar to form this band. Gillmor's style is a sunny pop-rock sound with clear influence from Ben Folds and Third Eye Blind.
Indie Mom and I saw them perform an engaging opening act for Say Hi last Friday night at Pomona's Glass House, performing songs from their new CD Counting the Days, which was released in July. Especially entertaining was the energetic onstage action of guitarist Harrison, who hardly kept still long enough for me to snap a picture. Somehow, I managed to get a few!
