Anthem In Debut
Brooklyn-based Anthem In fits very nicely in the Rogue Wave/Pinback niche while putting their own mark on their infectious, guitar-rich, layered dance-rock.
Allen Orr provides the soft vocals and lashing guitar, with Ashley Proffitt playing some sweet synths. Keith Vogelsong (bass) and Paul Petitto (drums) complete the rest of the sound. Add that to catchy tunes and lyrics that invite a sing-along, and you have an excellent record, which describes their self-titled full-length debut, just released this past week.
