The Very Most

The Very Most play very tiny instruments
The Very Most, who say they may be the only indie-pop band from Boise, ID, have just released their second album, Congratulations Forever, generally a collection of very bright, fresh-sounding, sunny songs that are great driving accompaniment. I especially like how Gia Trotter's vocals sweeten "When Not Being Stupid Is Not Enough." The title song is an especially nice bonus track that is 11 minutes long.
The Very Most are: founder and songwriter Jeremy Jensen, Zach Von House (bass, vocals), Allen Ellis (drums, vocals), and Gia Trotter (keys, vocals). If you buy Congratulations Forever from their site and fill in a form, they'll write a custom song just for you! You can check out some examples of those custom songs in one of their MySpace blogs. Pretty cute!

Thanks for the nice write up! Just a quick note to say that When not being stupid was sung by my sister Rachael Jensen, not Gia. Rachael plays with Portland band Parenthetical Girls. Thanks again.
Thanks for coming by, Jeremy! And thanks for the correction.
