Bark Hide and Horn

The latest to come out of music-rich Portland, OR, is Bark Hide and Horn, a four-piece who play folk-rock with horns and other unusual effects. National Road, the band’s first full-length album, following up their self-titled EP, is a musical journey inspired by singer-songwriter Andy Furgeson's collection of old National Geographic magazines and its editor in the early 60's, Melville Bell Grosvenor, grandson of Alexander Graham Bell.
As with the magazine, natural images abound--Just take these titles for example.
