Visit The Yellow Stereo for his Daily Graboid, always a source of great new music this week.
The Vinyl District waxes on about Elliott Smith's timeless masterpiece album, Either/Or, which contains a song with great personal meaning for me, "Between the Bars".
One of the newer sites on our blogroll, but one that I read faithfully each week, Thanks Captain Obvious celebrates his blog's first birthday. And a blog that's been on our blogroll almost since the beginning, Lonesome Music turns four!! We'll be celebrating our 2-year blogiversary in a couple of weeks...
Rawkblog has a bunch of great stuff this week, including a link to Wilco live at Lollapalooza, pics from the American Apparel flea market (that I was supposed to go to but didn't), photos from Ravens & Chimes, and a commentary on the upcoming Pitchfork book.
Music for Kids... has photos and reviews of Lollapalooza, plus a collection of his really nice concert photography on flickr.
And finally, in honor of his birthday on Wednesday, I bring you some of my beloved Elliott Smith tracks:
elliott smith: between the bars (either/or sessions) [buy]
