I am really into the ladies recently.
Swedish songstress Frida Hyvönen, who has toured with Jose González and Jens Lekman, releases her second album, Silence Is Wild, this week. This song has grown on me ever since I found it while looking for songs for a mixed album for a friend. Beautiful voice, beautiful lyrics.

I last mentioned Juliette Commagére when I featured her band Hello Stranger on this Hot Summer Nights Mix in June. After Hello Stranger wound up their tour with the Foo Fighters, Commagére still had the time and energy to complete a solo album with help from bandmates Martin Pradler and Joachim Cooder and his dad Ry, among others.
