same name, different song: part two

Earlier in the month, I posted about different songs with the same name after a comment from my son, He Might Be Giant. He asked if bands are allowed to call songs by the same name as another song. When I told him that yes, it happens all the time, he said, "well, then how can they tell them apart?"

These songs are obviously very different from each other, but very excellent in their own way. Enjoy.

j. tillman: take care> from tour EP 2006
hot chip: take care from coming on strong

I used call the local (crappy) radio station to request Creep, by Radiohead, and they would always play Creep, by STP. Good song, but not the one I was obsessed with.

thom yorke: creep [acoustic] from pablo honey [the original version, that is]
stone temple pilots: creep [live] from family values tour 2001

In reference to alt-gramma's post yesterday about Catherine Wheel...the first song is one I grew up knowing the lyrics to, and can't forget no matter how hard I try.

catherine wheel: wish you were here [pink floyd cover] from like cats and dogs
incubus: wish you were here from morning view
