Tanned Vampire

No nightmares here; just pumpkins

One of my very favorite songs of 2007 was "Curtain of Stars" by the Chicago band with the most un-Googleable name ever, July Fourth. Alas, July Fourth broke up earlier this year.

But the guy with the gorgeous voice, David Azizinamini, now has a fresh focus and a new project with a more memorable name, Tanned Vampire. In spite of the spooky moniker and this scary song title, this is just plain gorgeous. Hear more on Tanned Vampire's MySpace page, and join up and be a friend. You'll see me there! David says he has a lot more to write, and I'm looking forward to it.

Tanned Vampire: Nightmare Like a Kid - (unreleased demo, 2008)
MySpace | Label: Unsigned

This track is authorized by David Azizinamini for the explict purpose of distribution on Speed of Dark.

Sorry, but the most un-Googleable band name ever is the band of Arthur Lee, Love ;-)
