Air Traffic at the Avalon - 05-09-08
Bournemouth foursome Air Traffic opened for Elbow's show at the Avalon last Friday, May 9. Their Keane-like sound fit well with Elbow, and the band gave an energetic and glitch-free show. Lead singer Chris Wall switches between keyboards and guitar.
We were not familiar with their songs, but I'm sure that their much-promoted single "Charlotte," "Shooting Star," and others from their 2007 album Fractured Life were in the set.
