all radiohead: part three of three

Tonight I will conclude my trinity of posts on Radiohead for now, although I am sure there will be more in the future. I have more songs by Radiohead than any other band, although Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, Wilco, Nada Surf, and Elliott Smith aren't far behind.

Lift is an unreleased song that hasn't been played live in a very long time, since the OK Computer era. Personally, I think this song was too upbeat to be included on OK Computer. "today is the first day/of the rest of your days"

Bangers and Mash is a song that debuted on the 2006 summer tour and is one of the only real rocking songs to come out so far. Down is the New Up also seems to be a good rock tune. I can't catch much of the lyrics but the guitar sound is great.

Another new live song that debuted on the 2006 summer tour, 4 Minute Warning is also known as Bombers. It's a lovely tune with scary lyrics about people in general not being able to deal with the nightmare of the current world order. I love the fan at the end who yells "YEAH!" and then Thom's meaningless blather about what songs they're going to play next.

Go Slowly is another short, dreamy song that I can listen to over and over again, just drowning in Thom's moaning howls. I've got a couple of versions of this live, but the one featured below is from San Diego during the 2006 summer tour.

I wanted to post Follow Me Around, another song that I adored live and then was shocked to see wasn't included on Hail to the Thief. I have two or three versions, but I think the one I want is wherever I've put the Punchup at a Wedding that I want to post. I'll post both soon.

Have you had enough Radiohead for a while? I'm ready for them to come back on a West Coast tour right about now.

I've been looking for the Radiohead cover version of Decades for ages now. Any chance you've got it and can post it?
