Monster Movies
Monster Movies' sound is hard to pin down specifically, and the band name is certainly not a clue. The styles on their April release, All Lost range from dreamy emo to zoomy space-rock to dance-floor electronica and everything in between.
If you like Mew, you will probably like Monster Movies. It's similar to And the Glass-Handed Kites, in fact, in some ways I like it better. Mew gets a little too sugary when taken in large doses. I plan to explore some of MM's older albums because I think there is even more to like there.
