Last Sunday morning my husband and I got up before dawn to watch the Leonid meteor shower. The spectacular picture above has nothing to do with that except that we also saw the constellation Orion while we were out there. I had read that the U.S. west coast could experience the meteor shower "pre-dawn," but I guess it passed over pre-pre-dawn because we saw only about four shooting stars, although one was pretty good. Anyway, this is the premise for this "star song" mix.
I hesitated to include "Wandering Star" here because it is without a doubt THE saddest song I know, but it is also incredibly haunting and beautiful, so it stayed.
